WORKSHOP 3 - JEUX URBAINS

INTRODUCTION TO BASIC ICE FREESTYLE TECHNIQUES

Patinoire sous l’Anneau à Place Ville Marie

Service Description

Want to step out of your comfort zone and discover a new discipline on ice? This introductory workshop to ice freestyle opens the door to a creative, dynamic, and rapidly emerging world. On the agenda: learning basic techniques such as the triangle, grapevine, and ground moves (fulcrum, etc.), all adapted to allow you to explore movement at your own pace. Ice freestyle is a new sport focused on expression and creativity. It's a combination of dance, figure skating, and breakdancing on ice. In the world of ice skating, “freestyle” refers to a free and creative form with no fixed rules. The workshop is open to all levels, whether you are a beginner or already comfortable on the ice. Jean-Philippe (@Rollerbearding) and Clifton Holzscherer (@globaliceskate) will lead the workshop. Places are limited. It is strongly recommended that you register in advance via the link here. On-site registration will also be accepted if there are places available at the time of the workshop. Skates can be rented at Chalet 1664 near La Patinoire sous l'Anneau.
